Why a moose?

So why do I relate to a moose to the point I call myself one? Well I'm a big chick with long legs, and besides, I think moose are just downright cool. It all started  two of my favorite childhood shows:  Mr Moose on Captain Kangaroo and Bullwinkle on the Bullwinkle and Rocky show. The Moody part is named for my love of the band The Moody Blues.

A good friend of mine, markee suggested that I start a blog so here I go. i have a lot of interests and one of them are kids. I have been babysitting for over thirty years (though since getting married I have not found the time) I love cats and have had one or more in my life since I was a baby. I'm a drummer and am in my 12th year of playing. I play for my own entertainment and although  I have improved over the years I don't see me being asked to join a band or anything. I started drumming because I love music and thought it would be fun which leads me to my other interest- I LOVE MUSIC!
I like all types of music except opera, hard core rap (I like hip hop if it's free of profanity) and heavy metal. I'm not knocking it for someone else but I'm just not into those three. Just wanted to share a little of me and I hope visiters will share a little of themselves.
